Introduce your blog, you procrastinator! January 23, 2010

786

If you know me, then you might know me as someone who likes to create and someone who tends to procrastinate.  Obviously, the latter isn’t a good thing to be known by ,so I think it’s time to change. Recently, I was hit with a tsunami-sized wave of artistic ideas and I decided to harnass the chance to dump the habit of putting things off! So hopefully with this blog, I will.

I’ve wanted to create a blog for a while now, but couldn’t think of a topic. Until finally, today, as I was doing my Saturday morning clean-up, an idea struck! Start a blog about crafts! So I did. YAY. I told myself I had to do start today.   I figured since I like reading blogs (particularly funny ones, or ones about crafts) I could try to make one that was about crafts and maybe at least a smidge funny. No promises.

Im pretty crafty and I usually have alot of ideas, but I tend to overthink them so much that by the time I’m ready to begin, I’ve lost a bit of interest in it and moved on to the next exciting one. So, instead of me finishing one piece I end up not beginning or finishing anything! And by then, POOF! My motivation is gone. No fun at all.

So, my blog won’t just be about crafts, but also other random stuff worth sharing.  This site will be used to encourage me to improve my art skills.

That said, I’ll show you the record-breaking amount of 3 crafts I’ve managed to finish in the month of January!

Flounder the Elephant for my nephew Isa. Im definitely on the cool auntie list now that I gave him a pet elephant !

2,

Picture for my friend’s art auction, I’m really happy with the outcome I really felt a lot of heart go into this.

3,

Turkish cookies, Elmali Kurabiye. Yummy mummy and perfect with tea!

Well, thats all for now, folks! Thanks for reading, I’ll try to update regularly with new projects and whatever.

With Peace,

K :)

From a fellow procrastinator, Yay! I’m glad you finally started a blog. You’d better update it a lot. This should motivate you to finish your projects.

    flounder is so cute!

    The cat looks Egyptian.

Can I have some of those cookies? Yum!

When my eyes first set upon that elephant, I thought it was store bought. It looks sooo professional! You could make profit off of them.

Adore the cat. I could totally see that hanging up in a totally mod house. Like over one of those awesome fireplaces. ^_^

And that picture with the tea and the cookies belongs in a cookbook of some sort. Or a magasine. AWw, this blog has inspired me to go ahead and start one of my own projects. THANKSBUDYOU’RESOHELPFUL!

And I should update my own blog, also! :D
